     B2V ~ March 23 & 24 – 2024

The Official Baker to Vegas Challenge Cup Relay Communications Team.  In Years Past, We Have Provided all of the Ham Radio Communications for B2V, including Essential Comm’s Support for all of the Stages, the Runners, and their Teams, during this 2-day, ~ 120-mile race through the desert from Baker, Ca to Las Vegas, NV.  We support the Elite Law Enforcement Athlete’s That compete, and Race to WIN !! 

 Our Call sign is W7RBV ~ And for 2-days every year We Have Been the Ham Radio Communications team that works side by side with LAPRAAC to ensure that Teams, and their runners, are logged, and accounted for on Every Stage of The Baker2Vegas Race! 

This Year, the B2V Race will Be Run using Verizon VOIP Phones, as to Say, There Will No Longer Be Ham Radio On The Racecourse.  I have Been Told that We Will Be There As a ‘Backup’ But… We will No Longer Be Running The Race Using Ham Radio.
